It was a full weekend of sports and fun and it’s all to expose the little guy to how active his life is and will be. Gotta start em early.
First off, congrats to Espana and my friends across Spain. I’ve been a big fan of Spain for years and it’s sweet to see them finally make a win in the WC. Well done guys!! The video that follows is pretty cool to watch, the emotion those players must feel has to be huge. In this video, the woman is his girlfriend, who also happens to be interviewing him after the game for a Spanish entertainment channel, so don’t be alarmed at this sweet display of affection:
The video was found on Dooce’s blog: [www.dooce.com | i personally would have fainted]

This year I bought season tickets to the Portland Timbers so I could get high on the list to pick season tickets for next years MLS move. I seriously love going to the Timbers, soccer in general is so full of action and the Timbers really bring more. It’s going to be fun to see how they do as a pro team next year. Anyway, we were at the match on Friday when Timbers beat Miami FC, see the highlights (http://www.portlandtimbers.com/):

And finally, my friend Scott and drove to Seattle to see the Mariner’s lose against the Yankee’s yesterday. It was a beautifully sunny day in Seattle, very warm with a great breeze. Couple that with $8 beers and it was a perfect sunday. Alex was going to come with but my cousins and their kids live in Seattle so he had more fun eating sand and jelly sandwiches. I could tell he had a bast, he was tired and crabby by the time we got home. I’d say a success all around! Please excuse Scott in this horrible shirt he’s wearing but do enjoy a few photos from the day:

And that’s all there is to report, a full weekend of great weather and hanging out with my favorite little guy Alexander. And Scott, can’t forget Scott.
