I’m an early adopter, I pay more for items because I gotta have them before anyone and before the price drops from demand. I’m ok with this. The toys I acquire, I take pride in the fact that they are the first to come off the assembly line. Bugs and QC issues be damed!
My iPad came to me on launch day, it’s proven to be the best thing since sliced bread.
The apps I can’t live without (today):
OmniFocus (GTD Style To-Do) ~ Sync’s to the desktop version as well as my iPhone version.
Evernote (Mind like an Elephant) ~ Sync’s to my desktop, iphone, ipad, out-house, hen-house. Wait, that’s the movie Fugitive. This app is the ultimate in keeping track of information.
I’ve written about Evernote in other places, check this out.
iDisk (MobileMe from Apple) ~ All my docs and files in the Apple cloud in the sky.
Box.Net (Share Files) ~ Also a place to store files but also a great place to share large documents with others, such as photos.
Flipboard (Internet Life in a Big Book) ~ Beautiful way to get all your twitter, Facebook and other RSS feeds into one awesomely designed book. A coffee table book for your internet life.
Solitaire City (Games) ~ I’m a sucker for some Yukon.
PopularScience+ (News & Magazines) ~ You want innovative ideas? This is not only an innovative use of the iPad but the content is pure idea.
FinancialTimes (News & Magazines) ~ IMO, one of the best international newspapers. Want your EU legislative events fix, there you go. Wonder what the FTSE is doing against the DOW, go here.
CNN.com (News & Magazines) ~ Ahem, it might be turning more scripted talk show than news reporting but it’s still a great source for what’s happening around the world.
Time.com (News & Magazines) ~ Get this as the new app and subscribe to the magazine or add as an icon bookmark to your iPad screen, either way, Time is a master of showing how our world turns.
iBooks (Books) ~ I read, therefore I iBook.
Kindle (Books) ~ I kindled before I iBooked, therefore I still Kindle.
MobileRSS (RSS) ~ Of all the RSS readers I’ve tried, this one is just like using your Google Reader, heck it even uses those settings and subscriptions.
Notebooks (Productivity) ~ I think I tried every notebook app out there, some do a little of what I wanted and some do almost all that I wanted, this one did everything I wanted.
Twitterrific (Tweets) ~ Simply the best for iPad.
FlightTrack (Travel) ~ Flight tracking, updates, travel info, get it all here.
Penultimate (Productivity) ~ Think of it as your Moleskin Notebook for iPad.
Convertbot (Utilities) ~ $ vs. Yen? Inch vs. mm? And it makes cool Transformer sounds.
Google Earth (Utilities) ~ Get the lay of the land before you get there or go on a virtual vacation, either way, this is one cool app.
All other apps are trivial in comparison to these listed, no really, trivial.

Hey there! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird when viewing from my iphone 4. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue. If you have any recommendations, please share. Thanks!
Sorry it took so long to reply but I’m going to try one of the ones mentioned on this post: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/11-ways-to-create-a-mobile-friendly-wordpress-site/
Let me know if you find one that works well for ya.
